Fuel Efficiency

From the recorder data you already send

Fuel, measured flight by flight

This AeroSight FDM module measures fuel burn per flight phase, trends stabilized-cruise performance for each aircraft, and tracks how often your fuel-saving procedures are actually flown — all from the recorder data you already send. There is nothing extra to install on the aircraft and no second data feed to manage.

It sits beside engine condition monitoring: one upload serving safety, engineering and fuel.

Cruise performance, trended

For each aircraft, every stabilized cruise segment is measured against a reference, so a gradual loss of efficiency shows as a trend rather than hiding in the monthly fuel bill. Segments too short to measure are left out and counted, so you can see what the trend is based on.

Fuel-saving initiatives, measured

Most operators already have fuel-saving procedures. The question is how often they are flown. The module measures each initiative across the fleet — where it applied, how often it was used, and the opportunity that remains — and shows the opportunity as an opportunity, not as a promised saving.

  • Take-off configuration

  • Take-off thrust and derate

  • Landing configuration

  • Level-off in climb and descent

  • Reverse thrust use

  • Speedbrake use in descent
