AeroSight spent 13–15 October 2026 at the World Aviation Festival at FIL Lisbon, booth 2-139, showing AeroSight FDM v2 to operators a week after its release. This recap covers what visitors asked to see, the conversations we are following up, and how to see v2 on your own data.

A week after we released AeroSight FDM v2, we took it to the World Aviation Festival at FIL Lisbon, 13–15 October 2026. For three days, booth 2-139 was where operators could see v2 for themselves, on a screen rather than in a brochure.

Built on the first morning

We landed in Lisbon late on Monday and set up the booth on Tuesday morning, before the doors opened. From then on, the counter did much of the talking: the v2 video on the laptop, and a QR code on the tablet for anyone who wanted a demo on their own data.

What operators asked to see

Three things came up again and again:

  • Every flight, not only the ones that reached the programme. ADS-B flight history beside the recorder data, so a flight that was flown but never uploaded shows up as a gap. More in Every flight your fleet flies.

  • Event detection they can change themselves. Proposing a change to their Event Definition Sheet without raising a ticket, with a second person signing it off. More in Your FDM programme's health, on the dashboard.

  • Fuel efficiency from the same data. Single-engine taxi and the other fuel-saving procedures, measured from the recorder data they already send. More on Fuel Efficiency.

Beyond the booth

Between conversations we caught sessions on the main stage and in the Start-up Theatre, and met a few companies that could become partners. We will say more when there is something to say.

What happens next

If we met in Lisbon, we are following up this week. If we didn't, the conversation can start here: request a demo and we will walk you through AeroSight FDM v2 with your aircraft type. The video and an overview of the release are on the AeroSight FDM v2 page.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by booth 2-139. Until next time, Lisbon.
